You should be able to grab the fish in the hole you made in the second floor wall.
The electrical wires are likely run through the attic and down into the wall.
Support cables at 4 1 2 inch intervals with appropriate staples or clamps.
Finding the best route from the existing cable to the destination.
Install a flat panel tv on a wall with no wires showing.
Pull the e thernet cable to its destination and you re set.
Feed cables through the holes.
Protect the wall with a thin piece of cardboard etc.
All you need to do now is to install the box into the wall and feed the wire to it.
Return to the main floor and cut out a piece of drywall where the wire will exit.
Turn off the power.
Be sure to leave enough slack on both ends to make connections.
Insert the fish into the hole you drilled in the floor and then pull it through on the first floor.
Drill through the attic floor and then insert the electrical fish lead into the hole.
The national electrical code requires holes containing non metallic cable often called romex or flexible metal clad cable be set back 1 1 4 in or more from the edge of a stud fig.
