This is actually a pretty easy step that only consists of applying some putty tape along the screw holes that will be facing the roof of your rv.
How to replace rv roof vent.
If you are replacing an existing vent remove the old trim ring garnish piece from inside the rv.
By doing this you re ensuring extra strength for holding the roof vent in place.
Replace the hinges and check to make sure they are secure.
Next straighten out the tabs that go into the new vent and then put the tabs into the new roof vent.
If you are installing a vent in a new location mark the desired location for your vent make sure to stay between roof joists.
Remove old garnish or cut new opening.
